Information regarding some frequently raised issues by our students regarding the KAM100 – CAM100, KAR100 – CAR100, KTK100 – CHC100, SEC001 – GEC231, SEC002 – GEC435, and SEC351 – GEC351 courses, which are administered by the University’s Joint Courses Coordinator, is provided below:
Course Selection
Joint Courses are offered on the UZEBİM platform on a yearly and semester basis. Students are required to select courses in accordance with the curriculum of their respective departments. Incorrect course selections may result in incomplete grades, so students should pay careful attention to the course selection process to avoid any inconvenience.
Platform Terms of Use
To ensure the smooth running of KAM100-CAM100, KAR100-CAR100, and KTK100-CHC100 courses on the UZEBİM platform and the recording of exams, access to the platform is required only via the Android operating system. Access to course content, progress, and saving are not possible if different operating systems are used.
Course Language
Students must consider the language of instruction of their department’s curriculum when selecting courses. Grades will not be entered for courses selected in the wrong language.
Genius Course Selection
Failure to select courses in accordance with the academic calendar can cause problems when students enter grades. Therefore, selections must be completed by the specified dates.
Assessment
Each course’s assessment criteria vary. The assessment principles for the relevant courses are listed below:
KAM100-CAM100: Students are required to watch all videos and complete the activities on the course platform. Grading is based on a score percentage.
KAR100-CAR100: Assessment is conducted online through four exams on the course platform.
KTK100-CHC100: Students are required to watch all videos and complete the activities on the course platform. Grading is based on a score percentage.
SEC351-GEC351: Assessment will be based on the results of two online exams administered through the Prof. Dux system.
SEC001-GEC231: Assessment will be conducted through a single exam administered during finals week.
SEC002-GEC435: Assessment is conducted through a single exam held during the final week. The grade obtained from this exam will be accepted as the course grade.
